Cedarwell OT was born out of a passion for helping people be well.
Wellness is a powerful word, with many different interpretations. As occupational therapists, we see wellness as intricately linked to one’s ability to participate in meaningful activity, whether that’s basic self-care, employment, recreation, or other areas of daily life.
Who we help
We help clients with a variety of situations and needs. Some of our clients have chronic pain or fatigue. Some may be forgetful or have difficulty focusing. Many feel anxious, depressed, or stressed out. We all have room for a little more wellness in our lives, and we are available to help anyone who may benefit from our services.
We may be a good fit if:
You are dealing with physical, mental or emotional challenges that make your goals feel unattainable. The things you love to do are too difficult, or perhaps you no longer find pleasure in them.
You don’t feel well. You have tried different strategies, therapies or medications to manage your symptoms, but still feel like it is the bigger picture that needs attention.
You feel like a weight would be lifted off your shoulders if a helping hand could provide some support and navigation through change or difficult circumstances.
How we help
At Cedarwell OT, we believe that even life’s most trying challenges can be made more manageable with the right support and guidance.
While symptom management may be part of our work together, we always look at the big picture as well.
We are experts at identifying all of the unique pieces that make up a particular person, their environment (whether it be home, work, school, etc.), and the activities they want or need to do. As we put together these pieces, like a puzzle, we may find certain pieces are missing or broken. We draw on our training and experience to make plans—alongside the client—to mend or replace them, until the picture becomes whole.
